On the 2nd June 2010, Masters of Architecture students participated in a 2 Hour workshop called ‘Sep Yama: Working Past the Grid’ led by architect, Kevin O’Brien.

The objective of the workshop was to remove parts of the city to reveal places of significance in Eora/Cadigal Country. For the purposes of this project, a Place of significance was defined by traditional or contemporary Aboriginal culture (or personal other), but must be located within the built environment defined by the centre of Sydney. The workshop concluded with a presentation by students.

This workshop was organized by Jumbanna with UTS senior lecturer, Tarsha Finney.
