UTS invites you to experience the new Great Hall and hear the story behind the design.
Completely reinvented in 2011, the Great Hall is now a dramatic, cathedral-like space. The walls and roof are enveloped by a metallic skin, known as the ‘mantle’ made up of over a thousand individual aluminium panels. It features one of the largest indoor LED screens in Australia.
We’ll be featuring an interview with architects DRAW on the story behind the design and construction of the university’s principal ceremonial space.
All members of the UTS community and the public are welcome.
